In short, the Event-Gateway is a really interesting project that could add a lot of value out there, but it really requires a lot of human investment. It is a complex piece of software and it always was a one-person project (me).
By then (few years ago), "Create an event-gateway" was in a high priority in AsyncAPI Roadmap. But priorities changed for several reasons, and the project is just gathering dust.
Unless there are strong reasons to keep it, I would suggest we archive it.
