The goal is to build a functional ECIES system that integrates seamlessly into Starknet smart contracts, enabling privacy-preserving encryption for on-chain and off-chain communication.

Scope of Work

Develop a fully functional ECIES implementation in Cairo, focusing on:

• Elliptic Curve Operations: Secp256r1/secp256k1 support in Cairo
• HMAC Implementation: Optimizing HMAC using Poseidon hash
• AES Encryption in Cairo: Implementing AES-CTR mode using Felt252-based operations
• Key Derivation (HKDF) in Cairo: Using Poseidon and Pedersen hash functions
• ECIES Key Exchange & Encryption: Secure encryption/decryption with STARK-compatible efficiency
• Gas & Performance Optimizations: Making encryption fast and provable within Starknet constraints
• Extensive Testing & Benchmarks
• Packaging & Publishing Cairo Contracts as a Starknet Library
