Is there any way to use Keploy mocks other than for e2e testing?

Keploy mocks are useful. I want to use the keploy mocks defined in yaml for something other than the keploy test e2e testing.

For example, I want to run unit tests using Keploy mocks. This can be achieved by changing the keploy test application startup command to something else, as follows.

$ keploy test -c "uv run pytest -v --cov=./ --cov-report=xml" --delay 10

As an application of this method, I can also use the keploy test mock to run the keploy gen unit test generation.

$ keploy gen \
  --testDir="./" \
  --test-command="keploy test -c 'uv run pytest -v --cov=./ --cov-report=xml' --delay 10" \
  --coverage-report-path="./coverage.xml"

However, I think that keploy test is a function that is designed to perform e2e testing. I don't think it's a good idea to use keploy test for purposes other than e2e testing.
I want to use keploy mocks for purposes other than keploy test's e2e testing. Is there a good way to do this?

We had this feature before, the command was keploy mock. But didn't have much usage from the users and we eventually deprioritised it.

Thank you. Based on that information, I found the Pull Request where keploy mock was deleted. #1916 I will investigate how to get mock working based on this Pull Request.

I forked keploy into a private repository, and implemented the keploy mock command, using this pull request as a reference. Is there any possibility that this feature will be merged and maintained in the future in this keploy upstream repository? @charankamarapu
