Our team began development with version 9.2.0 and is still continuing on the same version. Although we are not experiencing any major issues, our PrimeReact version is now significantly outdated, and we are unable to utilize the new features in our projects.
When we attempt to upgrade to the latest version, 10.8.3, we encounter layout issues, particularly on the design side.
According to my findings, compatibility issues arise due to the theme templates used in version 9.2 after the upgrade.
Moreover, despite updating the theme's CSS with the ones available for Freya V.10.x, problems still occur. For example, checkbox markers are not visible, the shape of the menubar component is distorted, and similar issues arise.
What steps should we take to upgrade the version smoothly without encountering these issues?
