Type check for v-model is supported now(or in future)?

In this example, string is assigned to num when user changed input value and any type error is shown.

Is there any way to show type error for this type mismatch? or improved in future?

These features you showed is how to convert value into number, right?

What I wanted to know is how to perform type checking when using v-model.
Without type checking, as I showed in my code above, there is a possibility that a string value could be assigned to a variable defined as a number. I feel that having a mechanism to catch this as an error would make it easier to implement a more type-safe application.

It seems that vue intentionally does not perform type checking on the value attribute on <input>.
