Easier way of linking multiple projects

Hi

I mostly work in a domain driven environment where some proxy services connect to domain services.
Right now, when using Warden to test the complete stack, I use a local config and add extra_hosts:

extra_hosts:
      - "xxx.test:host-gateway"

However, this brings extra work since I always have to use local configs.
Is there any way to achieve this without?

If not, what would be the ideal way to make this possible?
I was thinking of some kind of group tag, projects within the same group would get each others Traefik domains as extra_hosts.
