The software component definition (used by C2P) is for version 1.0.0 of RHEL9 CIS Benchmark.

Presently, the validation component definition and the sample results in the e2e-demo are for version 2.0.0 of RHEL9 CIS Benchmark. We need get version 1.0.0 for each of these.

The 1.0.0 validation comp. def. should go here: https://github.com/oscal-compass/e2e-demo-cac-cd-cis-rhel9
The 1.0.0 results should go here: https://github.com/oscal-compass/e2e-demo-pac-xccdf-rhel9

And by virtue of automations, both should make there way to here: https://github.com/oscal-compass/e2e-demo-compliance-posture

Revised:

Software and validation components for ubuntu are derived from:

  • CIS_Controls_v8_Mapping_to_NIST_SP_800_53_Rev_5_Moderate_and_Low_Base.xlsx
  • CIS_Ubuntu_Linux_24.04_LTS_Benchmark_snippet_v1.0.0.xlsx
  • cis_ubuntu2404.yml

The 1.0.0 validation comp. def. should go here: https://github.com/oscal-compass/e2e-demo-cac-cd-cis-ubuntu
The 1.0.0 results should go here: https://github.com/oscal-compass/e2e-demo-pac-xccdf-ubuntu

The results were obtained by running oscap on Lou's Ubuntu box.
