Hello, and thank you for your interest in contributing to the otwarchive project!

You are very welcome to submit drive-by pull requests for issues described in our AO3 issue tracker. Please see our Contributing Guidelines for further information. You can find our Commit Policy and Coding Standards on this wiki.

We recommend using a container based development environment to work on the Archive:

• set up Docker locally,
• or use the cloud-based Gitpod.

However, we also provide instructions for directly installing the otwarchive software on macOS and Linux.

We also offer web-based development environments to official OTW volunteers. Open positions will be listed on the Volunteer page at the Organization for Transformative Works' website.
