The wget here just assumes some target (probably Debian x86_64) but does not mention it or others:

polkadot-sdk/cumulus/polkadot-omni-node/README.md

Lines 12 to 15 in c8d3339

    
           # Download and set it on PATH. 
        
           wget https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot-sdk/releases/download/<stable_release_tag>/polkadot-omni-node 
        
           chmod +x polkadot-omni-node 
        
           export PATH="$PATH:`pwd`"
