Even though, ESM transition is still a pain in the ass, more and more libraries support only ESM-projects. For example, matrix-js-sdk, that's been on dependabot's radar for a long time now.

Let's start moving our projects, starting with faucet.

One of the main troublemakers in on this path is jest, I'll try to transition to native node.js test runner; if it's still too early, then I'll consider vitest maybe.
