Hi Phil Fenstermacher,

Can the argument -strict.perms=false for filebeat init script in the DAEMON_ARGS section can be inbuild into puppet manifest .

Seems it doesn't support in current manifest.

Bump.
We have the same deal on our side. We have filebeat deployed from puppet (finally as root), and a bunch of config files are deployed with another user. It's necessary for us to have this parameter implemented.
