HI!
I've recently compile this project and I found this problem..
There is no documentation at all about how I change this

Audio opened using format: 22050 Hz 2 Channels

to a decent sample rate... the sound it's horrible
and it will with (I guess) any output ayt such sample rate (couldt understand how to use alsa
or set the alsa port properly. it should be like port:0,0??

timidity works better (but not perfect)

but... there is a major flaw on arm
the character just doesnt move... slides all over the map, it cross walls, ocean, etc..

Ive tried it across emulation... it does the same thing on linux x86

@ghost ghost changed the title how to change the sample rate!? RPI4 armhf major problem on character movement RPI4 armhf Apr 14, 2020

pentagram is being moved/ported/reworked to scummvm, maybe you'll have better luck with that engine. You have to compile from source to enable the 'disabled' engines though and it's in heavy development.

https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/commits/master/engines/ultima/ultima8

Honestly i shouldn't even recommend it, so i'm not going to, because it's embryonic, even if moving fast.

Meanwhile, use dosbox for this game.
