This is a demo Google App Engine java project.

It is a very rudimentary host checker. It basicly pings configured URLs using a http HEAD every 10 minutes sends an email in case of bad ping (status != 200). Perhaps not very useful in it's current state though I use it myself. 

The quality of the code is currently very far from state of the art Java code.
