We would like to request the addition of WASD key-based fly movement to the Supersplat web viewer. This feature is essential for efficient navigation, especially in large spaces, and is already available in the HTML viewer.
Furthermore, we would appreciate the addition of virtual buttons for touch devices such as iPads to facilitate WASD fly movements.

I agree! I think it is a little odd you can free look / wasd in the viewer app but not the editor ;)

Really fine camera control is also necessary for careful splat editing so it would be a really nice feature to have.

I completely agree! Adding WASD-based fly movement to the Supersplat web viewer would make navigating large-scale scenes much easier, especially since it's already available in the HTML viewer. Virtual buttons for touch devices like iPads would also be a great addition for fieldwork without keyboards. Both features would improve accessibility and precision for splat editing :)

I just want to clarify the current situation:

  • SuperSplat editor supports fly using keyboard Arrow keys
    • The mouse still orbits though, so it's a bit strange
  • HTML Viewer supports flying using WASD keys
    • Right mouse button controls camera fly direction

With both you can use shift to fly faster and option/ctrl to fly slower.

Neither has on-screen controls for flying on touch devices.

Oh, I didn't know I could fly using the Arrow keys. Thanks!

Thank you for summarizing the current situation so well.
