TBH I would love to have a more powerful SPLAT DATA panel, where arbitrary data channels can be added to the splat.
User could then make a selection and assign arbitrary values to any channel.
This functionality would be a superset of what you're asking for and in the case of 45 spherical harmonic coefficients probably quite difficult. (Though we could easily automate that part).
