OG Song Select

i want to suggest adding an option to have the song select be like osu! stable's so i could still have the skins elements there because i think its a big part of the skin and i just like osu! lazer alot more for playing but osu! stable has the better song select imo

It's been stated multiple times that the old song select won't return. Song select will become more customisable in the future, some options like putting images onto song select are already available and you should be able to make some use of existing assets in skins for this.

uhh how do u put images onto song select i haven't seen any option for that and its quite sad that old song select wont return since imo the new one is quite ugly

Open the skin editor in song select, then drag an image into it

Ctrl + Shift + S is the keybind to open the skin editor, this can be done at song select. From here you can either just drag and drop images into osu! or select "SkinnableElement" from scrolling down in the elements menu on the left to use something already present in your skin.

Just think of all the lazer things that would have to be re made to match stable looks plus what the other guy said.
