Problem: Right now, when I share a search (e.g. https://pressbooks.directory/?q=liberated%20learners) the link will go to the top of the Directory with no clear indication that this is a filtered search. This is confusing for users, and makes such links unusable in marketing assets.

Solution: It would be neat if when a user clicks the link they would be taken to an anchor lower down on the page that displayed the search results. Like this:

Note: when a user conducts a search, we do update page focus upon loading the query:

We do not update page focus when loading the query directly from the routing URL. Ideally, the behavior for both of these actions would be identical. When the Directory loads a page view which includes a routing URL, the page should load with 'Find a book' at the top of the browser and the active filters/search queries clearly visible:
