Hamsterlib may make use of a variety of 3rd party libs to provide enhanced functionality. These features may not be relevant for all users. extras_require provide a great way to deal with this in a transparent and flexible way.

Potential candidates are:

  • db_backend related libraries (sqlalchemy, psycopg2)
  • export related libraries (ical etc...)
