Lenses not working in Snap Camera

I'm having trouble getting the lenses to actually apply to my webcam in Snap Camera.

This error keeps appearing in the log for the server:

All the default lenses are working and populate after I launch the containers in Docker. This error appears in the log for any of the custom lenses I've uploaded and tried to use.

I've created 7 lenses and published them all. I originalty had 2 lenses working, and I was trying to figure out what was wrong with the other 5. I recreated the lenses in different versions of Lens Studio and tried the other two versions of Snap Camera. Unfortunately, now the 2 lenses I had working before won't load. I think I must be messing up a step somewhere, but I don't know where to start looking. Any help or suggestions would be VERY appreciated.

@Puggerinos I'm also experiencing this issue, and I see similar reports on Reddit. Are you using Windows or Mac?

I am on Windows 11. I was able to get 2 lenses working in Snap Camera a couple weeks ago, but now those are not working either. I am repeatedly getting this "expected unlock object" error. I made a post on reddit as well and someone tried out my lens on their setup and got the same error. They then went and tried a lens of their own they previously had working and they got the error as well. I think maybe they've changed something on the back end at Snapchat that's broken it. I'm suspicious it has something to do with the signature patch, but I don't know anywhere near enough to try to dig in that.

Saw your post on reddit, Been facing the same issue for mine I've been using Lens studio 4.55.1 for my lenses and managed to get them working last year, latest was around december 2024 was the last time I published a lense that worked in the application, its only this month where I was making new versions for my lenses was when I noticed they stopped working, my old lenses still work fine. I really hope this issue can be resolved by Ptrumpis since I love this modification to keep Snapcamera alive.

Same issue here. I think something has changed on snap chat servers as I can't load any of my lenses using the link from there website.

Should be fixed in the new release.

Edit:
There is still a problem when activating new lenses through share link or from the web search.
It appears that Snapchat Inc. does not like this project 😄. They are now hiding URL information which prevents activating new lenses.

I updated and configured the new release update manually, snapcamera is working as it was except the issue is still present where newly made lenses won't load. Looking forward to once the issue is resolved, thank you @ptrumpis

@ptrumpis I run Lens Studio 4.36.1 and publish too snapchat too create the link and use the link to add into the server. Would be great to potentally find a way to get Snapchat completly out of the loop. Maybe a server that lens studio can publish too that adds the new lense to the database. Would be more than happy to contribute to getting this done and remove the reliance on the snapchat servers for publishing.
