Quetzalcoatl has been in development for around 2 years now, and with the release 0f v0.6 I finally feel like it's coming together as a viable instrument.

While there is still a lot of work to do refining the plugin, it is now at least useable and capable of sounding (IMO) pretty spectacular. In fact, I'd say it goes beyond what you'd expect from a traditional synthesiser in that can be used as a kind of left-field groovebox & melody generator.

Roadmap

While the future is never certain, here's how I imagine Q will shape out over the coming months:

• More presets!
• About 2 weeks ago Q had a funny, multi-stage waveshaper. A month ago, there was an FM mode. Both of these features were cut for performance/sounding crap reasons. If possible, some form of audio rate modulation will return.
• Wavetable mode (possibly).
• 1 click package installers for Windows and Mac.
• Further bug fixes, UI improvements.
• Improved sound library. (Leaner, more diversity).
