Describe the issue

When changing the playback speed, the choice does not persist when playing a new video. It resets back to 1x speed when playing a new video or reopening the video. The playback speed choice persists across multiple videos and even when the app restarts in the regular YouTube app.

Steps to reproduce

1. Select a playback speed choice e.x. 1.25x, 1.5x, etc.
2. Play a new video
3. The playback speed reverts back to 1x
