When I create a template (from this), using a provided CLS file from the journal, I see that my generated latex file has a lot of extra quarto specific code in it. However, when I submit my tex documents to a journal, I think they expect those to look as minimal as possible as all style should be in their class file.
Is there an option to remove that extra styling, and/or get an better understanding on why it is there?
