How do I make the footer sit under the content, not stick to the bottom of the window

I've tried everything I can think of, but the footer insists on being locked to the bottom of the page. I don't want that.

I want

where the whole lot scrolls together.

How do I get the footer to sit beneath the content rather than float above it, locked to the bottom of the window.

Eventually figured it out - the layout builder is not entirely intuitive.
