Are there plans to adept the changes of the new HackRF release?
Is this even possible the slightly different hardware of the rad1o?

We are working on support for this. Parts have already been merged, but more testing needs to be done.

I woud really like to see sweep mode support, if possible!

Is there in general still work being done? (looking at issues/PRs, I am not so sure, e.g. if some small extensions like the antenna calculator are not merged, is this due to lack of space on the device or because of policy reasons or why?

Another year has passed, so I thought I'd give the "opera-merge" branch a try. The git commits looked promising (I really like the sweep). But the build fails with:

[ 97%] Linking C executable hackrf_usb.elf
/usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/9.2.0/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: CMakeFiles/hackrf_usb_objects.dir/usb_api_sweep.c.obj: in function `sweep_mode':
/tmp/f1rmware/hackrf/firmware/hackrf_usb/usb_api_sweep.c:96: undefined reference to `hackrf_ui_startSweepMode'
/usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/9.2.0/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: /tmp/f1rmware/hackrf/firmware/hackrf_usb/usb_api_sweep.c:161: undefined reference to `hackrf_ui_stopSweepMode'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

I'm also still actively using the rad1o and would love to see the sweep mode being integrated.

i've updated the opera-merge branch. It compiles now :)

Have to look more into what happened during the last two years upstream.
