Feed update / cron job issue

My cron jobs don't update the feeds.
When I open the update URL https://example.com?update_feedwordpress=1 in my browser, a blank page loads indicating all went fine, and I can see in the Syndicated Sites Settings that the feeds get updated after that.
I have a cron job set up on my server and another one on cron-job.org, as well as an automated ping on another web app I run.
All these seem to work just fine, getting a 200 response on each run, but when they run feeds don't get updated. I prevented the update URL from caching, but that didn't help.
