a planning page about possible documentation and other ideas for association activities

weekly acts:

  • video blog post:
  • tip of the week - a weekly tutorial?
  • as the way to grow a solid body of 'unit examples', small simple programming etc. examples that teach one thing / demonstrate a certain feature. could we even build a manual incrementally in this way?
  • or: 'week in realXtend development' (opensim has just these as news posts, reporting codebase activity)

long term:

  • reference manual (see e.g. the Ogre and Blender manuals (Ogre: doxygen(?), Blender Wiki (diff ppl))

  • publications such as ACM Multimedia Open Source competition?

  • IEEE VW group

business meets? e.g. Nordic VW group (reX was already presented there, see realXtend NVVM)

" NVWN would like to invite you to a "Discussion on a monthly seminar initiative" to discuss the possibilities for establishing a monthly seminar/presentation at NVWN's newly launched Virtual Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (http://nordicworlds.net/2011/11/14/summary-of-vcei-launch-on-november-9/).

The turnout at the launch last Wednesday revealed quite an interest in the topic of entrepreneurial activities in virtual worlds, and we believe a monthly seminar could strengthen the Nordic network of people interested in virtual worlds.

Please join us on Thursday, November 17, 13:00 to 14:00 CET at the VCEI on SSE’ island in SL: http://slurl.com/secondlife/SSE%20MBA/194/74/2001/?title=SSE%20Virtual%20Center&msg=Welcome%20to%20the%20SSE%20Virtual%20Center! "
