No commits since last 5 month. Is the project dead?

I am planning to try it out on nougat, just waiting for my exams to end.

Thanks, very interesting. Have no time to port it myself, but will try your build gladly if it happens.
Good luck on your exams!
PS: it's odd for me that no one continued the development since about a year.. Android TV on x86 has a strong potential in my opinion, as I already have several x86 boxes in my rooms connected to TVs, and would not swap them to ARM ones just because no one build Android TV for them.. Think I am not only one
