Creating FlatImages using Flatpak manifest #37
Comments
Also, Flatpak has an official tool called flatpak-builder to build Flatpak packages, so it would be useful to have something like flatimage-builder for flatimages. |
Greetings @eunos-1128 , thanks! I'm looking forward to explore this front, especially with the FlatImage store coming closer to fruition. I'll post updates here when there's progress. |
AppImage is useful, but there are problems with packages on the host's system where appimages are built (e.g. glibc) and the resulting restrictions on target platforms. I hope that FlatImage can solve those problems. I look forward to further information. |
Hi,
Thank you for the great package.
I think it would be very efficient if there was the feature to easily create flatimage recipes using the existing Flatpak manifests (which contains the build process). Are there any plans to implement this feature (or a similar one) in the future?
Regards,
