Sync-my-L2P currently doesn't download files for assignments. With assignments there's actually multiple things that we could download:

  • description
  • attachments
  • your submission
  • feedback to your submission

Since you didn't mention submissions or feedback I assume those shouldn't be downloadable? That would leave attachments and maybe the description. I've put that in our backlog.

Since you mentioned it, I would expect a tool called "Sync-my-L2P" to sync all and everything that you're otherwise supposed to be able to download manually. In case of user submissions the usefulness is debatable, at least the point of being enabled by default.
