Window throw doesn't work with Microsoft Teams #623
Comments
Unfortunately, this happens because Teams stops responding to certain aspects of the Accessibility API in macOS that Rectangle Pro relies on. It's been reported to Microsoft, but likely needs more people reporting it to Microsoft in order for anything to happen on their side. I'll take another look and see if there's anything I can do in Rectangle Pro. |
Thank you. This is quite frustrating as I work with MS Teams all day long, and I’m pretty sure this bug impacts many other users as well that uses MS Teams. I wish there were a workaround for this. :( |
Would you mind trying out this version, and seeing if it fixes the issue for you? |
It indeed fixed the problem! Thank you so much!! :) |
Hello,
I have Rectangle Pro and I primarily use the Window throw feature. It works well with all my apps, but with Microsoft Teams it simply doesn't work.
This is what I get when I open the log and try to use it on Teams:
Unable to obtain window id
Strangely, it works well the first time I open Microsoft Teams. But if I close or hide the window (the app is still running in the background) and then click on the icon on the dock again to show it, it stops working, until I quit the app (cmd Q) and open it again.
Is there a known fix for this bug?
