Contributing

tl;dr

  • Pull requests are very welcome
  • Check good first issues if you want to contribute but don't know what
  • We do NOT accept tiny text edits, typo fixes etc, which is typically bot activity/airdrop farming
  • Each pull requests is rewarded with a GitPOAP but this does NOT guarantee any other perks

Code Style

More information here. We use semantic commits for pull request titles and commit messages.

CLA

It is a requirement for all contributors to sign the Contributor License Agreement (CLA) in order to proceed with their contribution.

Pull Request Process

  • When opening a pull request, please make sure to fully fill out the pull request template that will appear in the description text box.
  • Make sure to cover your changes with unit tests.
  • Automatic linting and tests should pass once the workflows are approved by a maintainer.
  • Please follow our Code Style Guidelines.

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported via GitHub’s report feature.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community. Examples of representing a project or community include using an official project email address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event. Representation of a project may be further defined and clarified by project maintainers.
