This might not be possible, but using https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/fileBrowserHandler, it would be cool if we could add an action to HTML files on ChromeOS where the extension adds alt attributes to the HTML file and saves it.

Also: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/fileSystemProvider, https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/manifest/nacl_modules
