I'm wondering if this patch is producing a lot of disk writes...
We run this patched chromium on our kiosk 24/7 and we have 2 crashed SDDs. We are looking for a problem, maybe we have a bad SSD, but anyway.

is your system iresponsiv ..no keyboard no mouse are working ?

There shouldn't be any significant increase in disk writes, unless you have logging enabled at some verbose level.
