We would like to have a "light" version of Kagekiri for use in the browser. Some previously discussed characteristics of this lite version (nothing set in stone):

  • Use parsel as a lightweight query selector parser
  • Not all edge cases would be supported. For example, there are known limitations on unicode character sets for selectors
  • No support for IE or Legacy Edge needed
  • ~10kb

We will continue to have both versions of the library for supporting the different use cases.
