eCommerce Backend

This is the backend for an eCommerce application built with Node.js. It provides the server-side functionality and APIs required for managing products, orders, and user authentication.

Prerequisites

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/sam1090/ecommerce.git
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Configure the environment variables:

    • Create a .env file in the root directory of the project.
    • Specify the required environment variables in the .env file (e.g., database connection URL, JWT secret key, etc.).
  4. Start the server:

    npm start
  5. The server will start running on http://localhost:3000.
