Can't enable Steam games in the box

Hello everyone. I recently installed the Windows 11 24H2 update. Before the update everything worked perfectly, but after it Football Manager crashed in the box. When I launch the game from Steam, after running fm.exe, werfault.exe starts immediately and that's it. I tried:

• Create a new account
• I created a new box
• I updated the drivers
• I restored the system from before the update
• I uninstalled Avast
• I reinstalled Steam and the game. And nothing. The game still doesn't work. I'm asking for help

I can confirm it also on a new empty sandbox.

Football Manager 2024 is protected with Denuvo DRM. Various DRMs cause issues with Sandboxie. Could you try any other game on Steam to find out if it works fine for you? Denuvo-protected games are listed HERE.

I agree, Football Manager 2024 has DRM, but until recently it worked flawlessly. Football Manager 2024 Demo, and Football Manager 2023 has Denuvo too, but works

Could you try to launch it using some older version of Sandboxie?

Yes, exactly. Demo works fine with any Sandboxie

There was an update to the game exe on 4th of December, last year. They could made some changes to the game that cause the issue. Alternatively, it's the Windows 11 24H2 update might be the culprit.

I noticed that the gameoverlayui.exe file does not run in the Sandboxie

Do you mean Steam Overlay doesn't work for you? I just checked and it works for me fine in Half Life. However, I launch Steam in a green box (Application Compartment) and I use Windows 7.

This is my observation, because when I turn it on normally, this exe file is launched with the game, but it is not there in Box. I've been thinking about everything, I've been working on it for a week and I really want to get it working because I have many hours of gameplay

Unfortunately I don't have the game to try it out my self. From the look of it, it seems to be more complicated than I thought. You will have to wait for @DavidXanatos to step in and see if he has any idea what might be the reason of it. I don't have the skills to handle it.

Did you try to launch the game outside Sandboxie and see if it works there?
