I would suggest you use SAP Cloud SDK or CAP.

I tries to import the graph API edmx with "cds import" but when cds starts it's complaining about duplicate entries etc..

As this is an issue with CAP please post that as a question in the SAP community or file a case via SAP Support. If you don't need the full API of MS Graph then you might be better of by defining the needed requests just as pure REST calls. I did that to send E-Mails via MS Graph.
