Looking at the robot from a side view:

  • Motor 0 is closer to you
  • leg end-effector CCW is positive
  • Motor 0 "femur" "leads" in the CCW direction. (i.e: with the leg end-effector pointing straight down, Motor 0 femur is slightly positive and Motor 1 femur is slightly negative.)

Make a diagram that has all this stuff in it.
