Chrome image open issue

After a chrome update, the image open (when I click for the bigger photo) does not work, there is any error.
But, when I change the image (swipe, clicking the arrow etc) and I fastly click on the image the preview mode will show up.
The problem does not appear on another browser(Safari, Firefox etc...), only on Desktop Chrome

Is this issue resolved? I'm facing the same issue on Mac Chrome. it's working on Safari and FireFox.
Images are opening in a new tab instead of modal window.
