Just install it and slide from the bottom of the screen up so you get the keyboard. You need a touch display tho.

Thank you. I confirm this works with GNOME 3.28.2 (on current openSUSE x64). It works with standard apps, Text Editor, for example.
It doesn't work with Firefox (up to 61.0 for now): it shows up, but Firefox doesn't accept the typed characters. That is a known Firefox issue.
