I find that videos are taking forever to sync up, and the progress bar is static. A static progress bar unmoving for many many many many minutes is indistinguishable from a hang alas and a sign of life would be thrilling.
Describe the solution you'd like
A second progress bar below the current one which track upload progress of the file being currently uploaded. I should hope for photos it zips from 0 to done very quickly and for videos it moves along more slowly but at a pace that alleviates the concern above, that is, maintains a pulse, a sign of life.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I'm not aware of any. I could maybe watch logs on the server side if there's anything with the resolution of interest, but then that's not really practical either.
Additional context
I just find the synchronisation status routinely hung on a video. And I have no idea if it's actually uploading if it's hung, what rate it's uploading at etc.

I kid ye not, this one 32kB avi file has been being backed up for hours for example. It would be nice to see if there was a trickle of activity or a hang.
