Update NVIDIA GPU driver from NVIDIA 510.39.01 CUDA 11.6 to NVIDIA 515.65.01 CUDA 11.7
The initial deployments of both new production Spack instances expanse/0.17.3/cpu/b and expanse/0.17.3/gpu/b are now effectively complete, except for a few additional package builds that are currently being attempted in expanse/0.17.3/gpu/b. This includes packages like Amber, LAMMPS, and VASP.
Re-running of standard benchmark tests remains on-going and are planned to continue into the weekend.
Other tasks to complete before Monday:
Commit deployment record for expanse/0.17.3/gpu/b back to the sdsc/spack repo.
Change default lmod module for some Spack packages, where appropriate. e.g., openblas
Other tasks to attempt to complete before Thursday:
Complete the initial draft of the CONTRIBUTING.md and DEPLOYMENT.md guides, which will provide SDSC team members with the documentation necessary to contribute to the sdsc/spack repository and deploy new spec build scripts into existing production instances
