Running gulp task via grunt with verbose flag results in "undefined is not a function" error #6

The error occurs at this point:
https://github.com/gruntjs/grunt/blob/master/lib/grunt/task.js#L199
obj.dest contains the name of the gulp task.
obj.src exists but is set to undefined.

The error message: "Warning: undefined is not a function Use --force to continue."
