Version 0.17 was released earlier today to start this New Year with some of the things we have worked on last Year. Here's a summary of our changes:

• meta-isar/recipes-core: introduce MTDA_EXTRA_APT variables
• kas: switch to Linux 5.14 to support newer nanopi variants
• LICENSES: add GPL-2.0-or-later
• meta-isar/recipes-bsp: add u-boot recipe for the nanopi-r1
• meta-isar/recipes-core: build custom u-boot for nanopi-r1
• meta-isar/scripts: add .wks file for nanopi-r1
• meta-isar/conf: add nanopi-r1 machine (Closes: Hardware support from mtda for nanopi R1 #105)
• meta-isar/conf: add multiconfig files for supported nanopi variants
• ci: switch from mtda-nanopi-neo to mtda-nanopi-all
• kas: make kas-container executable
• meta-isar/recipes-python: make py3qterm use PyQt5 (vs pyqt)
• docs/build: document nanopi-r1 setup (Closes: nanopi-r1: document setup #124)
• main: do not load server-side settings when running as client
• mtda-cli: do nothing but print usage for mtda-cli help
• main: start session monitor only when running as a server
• storage/writer: fix a variable referenced before use error in write_raw
• meta-isar/conf: set PREFERRED_PROVIDER for u-boot-nanopi-r1
• fix flake8 warnings/errors (mostly ununsed imports)
• tox: add configuration file to run supported tests
• ci: use tox to run supported tests (flake8, reuse)
• main: make sure the agent is created with a default name
• gitignore: add .swp files
• meta-isar/scripts: pass --use-uuid in sdimage-efi.wks for /boot
• main: make target_off/target_on no-ops when already off/on
• main: do not send empty session events
• tests: provide some basic tests using pytest
• docs: describe how to write device tests using pytest
• storage/writer: handle end of stream for bzip2 streams (Closes: storage: writer: BZ2 compression broken #147)
• meta-isar/conf: introduce mtda-bullseye distro
• meta-isar/conf: use IMAGE_FSTYPES instead of IMAGE_TYPE
• kas/debian: set distro in multiconfig kas files
• kas: refactor yml files to have a single list of repositories
• meta-isar/recipes-python: zstandard may now be cross-compiled

• console/docker: new driver to attach to the console of a container

• nanopi-r1: add support for Wi-Fi (Closes: nanopi-r1: enable Wi-Fi #125)
• nanopi-r1: add support for Bluetooth (Closes: nanopi-r1: enable Bluetooth #126)
• mtda-cli: add missing help options for subcommands (Closes: Some subcommands miss help option #136)
• setup.py: replace tab with space
• mtda: add support for xz compressed images (Closes: support xz compressed images #121)
• setup.py: needs zeroconf to be installed to run mtda-cli on host
• apt: mtda apt link changed
• storage: start mtda-usb-functions after storage is loaded
• ci: build packages when a PR is created
• ci: perform build only when labels are assigned
