Coloring with opacity

Well, the voxels themselves can't have opacity obviously, but I'd like to set drawing opacity for color replacer tool so I can blend colors together at lower opacity. This would help making nice color blends when you need them.

You mean similar to how the color blender works in PixelShop?

Haven't used PixelShop so I wouldn't know. But I mean like drawing with lowered opacity in say Gimp or Photoshop or any modern drawing program.
