Does immich-go support importing assets in a folder structure not zipped

I've been searching for anything detailing if I can upload my locally hosted files that are in a nested structure. Looks as if everyone posting is using this tool to upload Google Photos takeout data. I did that already and it worked great! Now looking to use this tool (if possible) to upload all my other photos.

Yes it does support the import from a plain old folder structure.
Don't give the option -google-photos

I am using the following command and it appears to not be looking recursively in the folder structure. Am I missing something? The immich-go file is located in the root directory of the Pictures. No other files in the root directory and all assets are in subfolders.

You have to give a path

./immich-go -server=http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:XXXX -key=****************************** upload -dry-run /path/to/photos

Note to myself: add a check for the presence of the path in the command line
