Discuss UI with regards to color pickers and ring lights

In light of the much-improved ring lights we should see if we still want to use the 16-bits color display for the color picker, or the 24-bits color LED's that surround the screen.

Using the LED's would necessitate a rewrite of some of the effects provided by the ring_lights component, for example the gradient which could be used to pick a point between white and warm white
