Sometimes, when using Soundscape with the screen locked, after a few minutes of updates I'll stop hearing any callouts. I was attributing this to intermittent connectivity issues, but now I'm thinking it might be an iOS 16.4+ change in the location services API, based on this discussion I came across: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/726945

Sorry I don't have more specific reproducibility steps, but has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

Myself and @StevenAbrams have definitely seen this before. We did spend quite a bit of time investigating this going back probably at least 3 years, and it was very hit and miss so we never got a concrete answer as to what was going on.

Sometimes it would work perfectly for hours on end, but sometimes callouts would appear to stop until we unlocked the phone and brought Soundscape to the foreground.

Given the iOS 16.4 change, so it I would think it warrants looking at again. I will see if I can reproduce it, and see if I can get a sense for whether it is more frequent than and used to be, suggesting something may have change since our original investigation.
