How to exclude pid from response

I can't exclude the pid field from response. In the file https://github.com/sourcebroker/t3api/blob/master/Resources/Private/Serializer/Metadata/TYPO3.CMS.Extbase.DomainObject.AbstractDomainObject.yml

I write

pid:
      type: integer
      exclude: true

But it takes no effect. Or can I exclude it in an different way?
