When locking a block such as a trapdoor (I tested with copper), updating it with Redstone will toggle it to its unpowered state. For instance, trapdoors locked in an upright position to act as walls for a water stream will fold down if a player places a redstone torch next to them.
Ideally, they'd preserve their toggled state.
Steps to reproduce
Install BlockProt for 1.21.4
Place a trapdoor, toggle it upright, and lock it
Power it with Redstone, and notice that it folds down
